OK so I don't have a very refined palate, but I know when I like something and when I don't

I can say I really enjoy the BH Dark Rye...it's very smooth with just a hint of port on the back end of a taste...very easy sipping and worth trying if you like rye or port

the story behind them is cool, basically you can never get the same bottle twice..they rescue "orphaned" barrels from abandoned distilleries or closed down ones so the aging and flavoring is unknown a lot of the times...ive sampled like 3 different kinds theyve had and all 3 were awesome

not exactly a whiskey, but I picked up a bottle of this the other day and it's really really good - if you like them on the sweeter side, like a port/sherry cask finished single malt with dark chocolate notes

    Flux capacitor!
I picked up two bottles of whiskey to add to the bar. Basil Hayden is always a good choice. The Oban Little Bay is very smooth!

The girl I’m seeing won a bottle of Basil Hayden’s at a raffle, have rather enjoyed drinking that whenever I’m at her place.

Recently I picked up a bottle of Old Forester 1920.

I think this is my new go-to/daily. It's a little pricey at $50, but in my area it's not allocated like ER10, OWA, EHT, etc.

Balvenie, a single malt scotch. Smooth and delicious. It's on the mid to high range in price, so it's not an everyday drinker. Which reminds me, I'm getting low.
