Installed Morimoto LED Fog lights. Got them on sale from retrofitwholesale. I really like em so far. I absolutely suck at doing these kind of jobs but somehow manage to fix delicate electronics like TVs and computers so if I can do it, so can you. For example, it took me about 25 mins to realize that the reason the fog light was not fittin correctly to the mount is the fact that I've grabbed wrong side fog light from the package. First one took about 35 mins the second one 5 ... I know because I timed it :)

    Over the last week:

Finally did the DC rear seat fold-down mod!
    IMG_3761.jpg

After getting the bed Line-X'd and cured, I added this no-slip heavy duty bed liner:
    IMG_3783.jpg
And finished the rear differential rebreather mod.
    IMG_3777.jpg

Now I understand why most people move it up behind the tail light. I put it up in the bed side (attached to one of the metal boxes, accessible by removing one of the plastic caps from the top side rail) and it was pretty near impossible to reach hands or tools inside. I got it secured, after several fails, but it's messy; I may have to "fix" it because, even though no one but me has seen the creative use of zip-ties, it's very Drunk MacGyver. :anonymous:

Also borrowed a cheap-ass unknown brand tonneau bedcover from my neighbor. Resecured the rubber seals at all sides and got it back to useable. It seemed to keep the bed dry in the last bit of rain we had, and does a decent job at out-of-sight, out-of-risk security.

Can’t fault you for thinking practical. What you said made sense. It just wasn’t as accessible as you thought.

I really like that modification. Can that be done to the CM rear seat as well?

    Thank you, Ron!
Sadly, no. Y'all get that awesome rear window, but I understand the back wall in yours doesn't support the seat backs as ours does (probably the one between the window and the cabin isn't structurally strong enough). This mod involves grinding or cutting metal hooks attached to the back of the seats, so they "lift" out of the attachment hoops mounted on that back wall. So far, I don't know of anyone that's found a way to mod the rear seats in a CM.

Yup, as awesome as the roll down back window is... I’d still rather have the fold down seats. DC’s for the win.

Did my center console induction charging mod. JB Weld is setting now. Should hold well once it's all dried!

Oh, and did my hardcore shorty antenna install, rear brake light LED, LED footwell light, and LED Turn Signals - check my build thread for more details:

I’ve been thinking of something like this myself but having it red and black possibly. And maybe incorporating 4 x 4 like my stock sticker but better. I like the font style of the ”TRD you have there.

It's @obz truck, I just played with the photo to get the effect of what I was thinking. Look close and you'll see the masking of the other letters. I like simple, with a little different...
    The all black looks "PRO"
Red & or white would be more "TRD".
That's what is cool about custom... It's everyone's own take on something we all recognize.
    ...and LOVE!

Didn't do anything productive today except destroy a credit card. Ordered my 18X9 Fuel rims last week, ordered a one piece bumper last Tuesday, along with fender flairs. Today ordered a set of Bilistein 6112, fumoto oil drain plug valve, oil drain tube and this morning picked up 3 gallons of oil and four oil filters. Next weekend is gonna be fun as long as wifey doesn't see the CC bill:spending::spending::spending::spending:

Swapped the halogen reverse lights w/ LED bulbs. I used a bit of force taking the left tail light off, and accidentally had the bottom push pin released from the hole. I then placed it in the hole on the truck, not the tail light. I know I am being paranoid, but does this minuscule gap seem like it could cause water to leak inside?
