Has anyone purchased this Fab Four bumper? Any thoughts. Its quite a bit less expensive than some others I looked at so far. This is my first Tundra, and while impressed with the truck (2013 Platinum) I am a little disappointed in the cost of some accessories. I am accustomed to Jeep TJ prices. I had a Smittybilt xcr on my last TJ, and it was great for limited use. I am looking at the Zeon 10s for the tundra.

That Fab Four looks decent enough. I think it bolts up to where the factory tow hooks are. Some guys are running with this setup...........http://store.sdhqoffroad.com/2014tundrahiddenwinchmount.aspx

I ended up with the Westin winch tray... took 2 damn hours to get it installed but I think it will be a good addition. DEC24F7E-4D8A-4EFC-A26C-52A365C59CAC.jpgF5D65BA7-C507-4FF7-8CC1-5F881754E38F.jpg A5F4675D-2205-4363-A648-7A16941BF53E.jpg

are you mounting a winch and are you having to do any modifications to the front end suspension? I am contemplating the same setup on my 2017 Crewmax

I mentioned this in another thread so I’ll drop it here again. My 2017 Pro was backed into and naturally they drove off. The factory bumper was torn. This is the second time this has happened to me. I bought a KO bumper off e bay for $539 to the door and that’s from the West Coast to the East coast. The bumper is still sitting in my garage for now but I just took the packaging off it and wow it’s nice. I know there’s also a matching rear bumper delivered for well under $500. The bumper is heavy duty, includes a winch tray, two massive D loops, a hoop with a place for mounting lights (14.5” on center), 4 holes for 3.5” fog lights, double powder coated...

I couldn’t find the weight in the literature but I know it came in two packages. The largest was the bumper and Fed Ex said it weighed #115. The other package was the winch tray and if I was to guess I’d say it was #25. So if I was to guess the bumper total weight after installing 4 fog lights, a 20” led bar and a 12,500 winch with steel cable I’d say roughly 215#. Lose the winch and it would be reasonable to think 155-160#.

How far out in front does this project? Looks like it’s quite a bit. Can you post a picture from directly to the side?

Sitting on a couple saw horses for now until I get all the accessories ordered. The winch tray is on the bottom of the right side saw horse. I read an online review and a guy said it took him 2 hours to remove his old bumper and reinstall this bumper and it bolted right up.

Installed the winch Wednesday. Works great. Towed my K5 in neutral to load the spool. As far as measurements from grill to edge of bumper it’s basically the width of the winch. I will get a better pic from side posted in the AM. Hope this helps

Hi am very happy with the SDHQ hidden winch mount. It has done very well for me. Plus I like the "hmmmmm did that come from the factory that way?" look.

Looks good. Do you have to raise hood to get to the winch to unlock it? Also, is the Zeon winch worth the extra money? I was thinking of getting one next year for the tundra and putting the Smittybuilt on my TJ...

I trimmed one section of the narrow black plastic grill in the bumper. You ca get your hand in to lock and unlock the Winch. It works well. I am using a 12,000lb winch from harbor freight. Never had any problems with it.
