    The Rugged Ridges that I'm waiting for supposedly give me two options for the drivers side: Stock hooks or remove stock hooks and utilze provided pins for a more secure fit. Not sure about passenger side other than "nibs" on the bottom to prevent the mat from sliding all over the place like my W Techs. IMO, you shouldn't have to mod your mats to make them usable. Especially if your are paying over $100+ for them. It's not rocket science.
