Hello everyone! New to the forum. I have a 2000 tundra 4x4 TRD with 120k that I really like. I also put a new timing belt in it recenty. I have one main complaint tho, I am about 6'4" and I need a few more inches of leg room! Does anyone out there know a way to modify the seat sliding mechanism to get it to slide back further? Or maybe how to put in a different seat? Id even be interested in finding out what year they increased the leg room in case I have to give in and sell her. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I love everything else about the truck and I don't want to let her go.

welcome, I have owned a 2004 AC cab since it was new and this is my only complaint as well. I have yet to figure out how to mod the manual seats to extend the leg room. However, I sat in a 2004 with motorized seats and those went much farther back then the manual seats. I have not found any motorized seats yet which are affordable though

At 6'2" I'm right there with you guys. Problem is for me, the farther back the seat goes, the farther away the steering wheel is...

Please. This is me on the rare occasion when the wife doesn't make the bed.

Those that know me in person will have a better understanding of my struggle.
