What i really want are SCS ray10's in bronze in 17.. :l

Normal road curves and turns i don't feel any rub, but tighter space maneuvers i can tell there is some. I'll likely run spacers in front until i see a wheel i fall in love with.

So far on road feel is exceptionally smooth for an AT tire. I'll have pictures up later!

Tires never rubbed on UCA. because of my caster, my sway bar rubbed on my coilovers.

I am just hesitant to run spacers because i had spidertrax on my old 4runner.. they don't allow my rotors to free float and i developed a slight wobble whenever i applied the brakes. Any one face issues like this and was able to correct it?

Seems i need to be especially careful when mounting them

I did grind the sway bar ends though ala "TRD front sway bar" so it doesn't poke anymore in my coil overs. In case one day i want to put it back on.

If you look at the way our brakes are setup, the rotors slip onto the hub and are contained by the caliper..

they arent bolted on anywhere - thats what i mean by free float

but the wheel spacer does the same job as your wheel... it's that which fastens the rotor to the hub. floating rotors are a little different... and they're pretty cool and if you had them for your tundy... i wanted them too!

I think im just using the wrong word.. with the stock and rw wheels the lug washers seat the wheel dead onto the hub and thus the rotor. But with spacers, if you aren't exactly precise when installing, the rotor can be a few degrees "cambered" when the spacer is torqued down and it doesn't correct itself when you bolt on the wheel

yup, agreed... that's why some of us, me included, love hub centric specific wheels/spacers and so on. Even so, you're right, spacers & wheels means you have to get two things right to make sure your rotors run with zero run out

Pictures show the wheel turned driver full lock. These tires sure are bitching though

the first picture its actually contacting the uca already...

got home and slipped on 1/4 inch spacers i had previously installed for a while..

reading about hubcentric spacers vs non hub centric got me a little worried so i put some antiseize on the mating lip of the wheel to see if it was sitting on my hub or not and it did get some grease on the hub.. about an the wheel sits on about 1/8 of the hub lip.

    this should be fine right?

i really dont want to run 1.25 inch bolt on spacers and have my tires poking out that much.

Thanks man. That gives me some confidence, when I mount the wheel I definitely feel it riding up the hub vs sitting on the studs. I can get a good 5 turns on my lug nuts on by hand before torqueing it, I think stock length is ok.

    Couple things:

Hub centric spacers are a must. Spidetrax is hub centric.

During install, I use blue loctite (not red or they will suck to take off). I torque, install wheel, drive down the street quickly and do a couple hard stops and s turns, then pull the tire and retorque the spacer while the loctite is still wet. This makes sure the rotor is properly seated.

If anybody wants to sell their work warrior wheels, I am looking for another set.

As everyone said. Hubcentric is a must.
Always keep an eye on them and maintanence them religiously. Do not over torque you’ll be good!

looks close. time for new rims :)

+18 or +25 should be good with backspacing of 5.75.

lol definitely don't want to do that. With the 1/4 spacers im getting just a touch of rub at full lock.. i don't really want any other wheels on the market now, and i dont really want to add 1.25 spacers :annoyed:

Drove up to mammoth this past weekend, super quiet on the highway - moreso than my toyo at2.

Did fishtail a foot or so sideways when making a sharp left at slow speed on ice in 2wd, but when going straight these tires chewed through the snow/ice. Switched to 4hi for the peace of mind and it didn't slip at all even going through curvy hills.
