a month ago, it was showing on the Fortin website as an option, then they took it down and it only shows TOY2 as the only installation option. go to fortin.com and check it out, by all means if you can make it work, let us know.

TOY2 didn’t have the t-harness he’s showing in video for the OBDII port that’s why I recognize the TOY7

When I did mine TOY7 didn’t exist so used TOY2 and I had to use a pair or t-taps in OBDII port and cut like 4 wires, I like the new TOY7 maybe go to repair my wires and go for the TOY7

Not really, that’s a harness that the 12v people develop for his installation, that’s why is so expensive.

Just did my install of the EVO-1 with the TOY-7 Harness on my 2015, just had to tap the key signal wire because of the factory alarm.

Took about an hour and a half total, and that's only because I ziptied all the cables nicely inside the dash. This harness makes it pretty much idiot proof.

Got mine from Anderson Electronics on Ebay. https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/352289233157

Highly reccomend this guy. It arrived in 3 days all programmed, zero issues. I could have got it cheaper and flashed myself but for the little more money its worth it.

He is out of Harnesses for now but you can get them on Amazon.

Anyhave having small issues with interior lighting when the you start the truck with the remote start? I remoted started this past weekend, and a few hours after driving the dash lights shut off (headlights stayed on) and i had to turn off my headlights and turn them back on to get my dash lights back on, and the dome lights didnt work.

I noticed it do it one more time when i started the truck using remote start, but everything works 100% when i manually turn on my truck..

A little different issue, the bed light goes on now when I remote start the truck even though I have it set to off. I prefer not to have it light up, must be something with how the Evo backfeeds the parking light circuit?

Well gents the Toy 7 will not work on the 18s.
The harness in the 12v solutions video is their own harness not the standard Toy7.
The Toy 7 harness I recieved from ebay has a different connector than the 18.

Well, if you can't use the TOY7 and you use the TOY2, you could buy this
    https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/302368163665

And splice in the OBD2 wires, that way you eliminate 2 wires that you splice into the factory harness, and give yourself an extra OBD2 connection for a bluetooth code reader or other scan gauge setup.

Installed the 12volt.solutions version on my ‘18 last night, with the phone app. Easy, straight forward and works perfectly. Took about an hour to install, that’s tear down as well. 20 minutes to program both. That’s reading and comprehension of steps to be safe first. And another hour to cleanup wires, zip tie, and put it back together so it is completely stealth. Works perfect, and very happy! Since it is a fortin one unit, I need to investigate an RF Auto Unlock fob.

Finished the install of the Evo-One yesterday with the TOY7 harness. It is 100% plug and play. Didn’t have to cut anything on my 2017 Pro.

I was a little intimidated at first. I haven’t installed a car stereo in 20 years but the harness and videos made it super simple.

Total time was about an hour from start to finish. Anyone can do this. Just take your time and watch the video as you go.

I bought mine from the same eBay seller as the OP.

Gotta love the University of YouTube!

What video did you watch? You didn't have to do anything with keysense? Do you have factory alarm?

It was a 3 part YouTube video for the Fortin. It should be the first thing that pops up when you search for “Tundra Fortin.”

Regarding keysense, I didn’t splice into the wire. I even asked the vendor if I should and he said I needed to splice into it in order for it to work. Well, I didn’t and it’s working fine so I’m not sure exactly what to think of it.

Yes, I have the factory alarm also.

I thought I had done something wrong because I had so many wires not plugged into anything but I realized those are just in case I wanted to add to the system.

Also, like an earlier post, I don’t have to push the lock three times in order to start it. I just leave the lock pushed in until it beeps back and then will start it.

    So the process is,

    -Push Lock until car starts

-press unlock once to unlock door

    -go inside driver’s side

-put key in ignition, turn twice (not three or you’ll grind it)

-tap on brake. Dash lights will change and you’ll be able to drive off.

    Hope this helps.

One more question as I'm installing Saturday. From what I've read the TPMS harness is on the passenger side behind the glovebox. I assume you run the tharness to the other side. Any hangup there or special way to route the wire?

I used a hanger as there is just a small space to get the wire accross. Those wires are hard to strip also. Best to solder it.

I plugged the TPMS harness in and then ran the wire using a hanger like BlueBottle over to the driver side. No hang ups. There was plenty of room behind the center console against the carpet. The TPMS is a little charcoal colored square. If you look from underneath on the passenger side, it’s closer to the vent side. You can see it in part two of the Fortin video at 7:02.

I watched that YouTube while I was doing and it helped out a lot.

    Good luck. Hope this helps.

This company is making their own harness. One of the connector sets is a 30 pin connector that his plugs into. They also charge $175 more than other companies for the same thing using their custom harness for the 2018. Here is the 12volt.solutions harness. It's quite different from the THAR-TY50 harness for older models.
