I bought my 2013 Tundra this week and it was pretty much an impulse buy when I saw the price,$19.700. In hindsight I wonder was it really a deal or not, according to KB for the mileage (78000) and condition I was right at the top of the value range.

According to a carmax report there was an accident on the right front side, but no airbags deployed and there was no frame damage and the Title was normal. I did open the hood and look for obvious signs of major damage like new parts/paint verse old but found none, I also checked to make sure all the seams on the right front fender and door lined up.

    thnx for any feedback.

KBB is a good indication, but the prices will vary depending on location, time of year, condition of vehicle, accessories, etc. so it will not be always dead-on.
As long as you are close to the range that they show and you like the truck that you bought, then it should be all good.
    Congrats on the new truck!

Quick and dirty way to see is pull up Autotrader and do a search for similar vehicles in your area.

Look at my name :) My friends and I used to watch that movie over and over and over again on an old top loading VCR that we had to smack on the top to get it to work....*sigh* that was 30 plus years ago...I feel old now.

So not knowing what package you have, as 13 SR5 double cab in Colorado would be around $20-23K with 60-80K. Sounds like a reasonable price.

I don't use any of the NADA, KBB or black book for pricing anymore for any of my cars (buy at least 3 a year). I start with them for the baseline, and then work through the market on all the different sites to see what they are currently selling for figuring a negotiation factor into price to determine a deal. Then make sure I am buying at a significant discount factoring how much work I need to put into it. Most of what I am buying is not running or needs lots of work.

there are no exterior badges like LT/LTZ/TRD/XLT etc that denote a model, all I have is iForce 5.7. the interior has a great bloody huge console and a stock non-gps radio and cloths seats.

You can find package and option information at link below for 2013. Assuming you have bucket seats, console, and fabric would be a version of the Tundra grade/SR5.

Download NADA on phone Do also KBB and edmunds. You will find out NADA prices are higher which is what the stealership uses....

Until it's time to trade in, then NADA suddenly "isn't accurate"...
