Tundra Towing a Hang Glider

    Our son was flying in the Luke AFB Airshow this weekend so the wife and I went up there to check him out.

    Part of the show was this Tundra pulling a Hang Glider on a 1000+ foot tether connected to a winch mounted in the trailer.

    The announcer had mentioned something about having to keep the speed down hence using the second slowest Tundra, white being the first, a MGM.

    Lol... Thanks Chris. I'm one of the old farts on here.

    He's actually a Combat SAR Flight Engineer/Gunner (SMA) on the HH-60G and working to get a commission and pilot seat.

    They were part of an Airfield Takeover demo where they fast roped some special ops guys in and then hosted wounded out. Pretty fun to watch him do his thing.
