Couldn't have put that any better. Go with the Toyota mechanic and pay the 2K and have piece of mind.

Well, I have done mods on German cars so everything else is walk in the park once you have dealt with German engineering. From my previous experience with Audi, BMW, Benz and Porsche, Supercharger is not a big deal but gears I know is tough and I agree with you on that. I will spend $2,000 and use this one guy to do it all.

Truck already has a Toytec/Boss lift and 35s. I don’t work on the cars myself but I conceive, research, find solutions and then hire someone to implement. It doesn’t go right always but ofcourse success rate has surpassed the failure rate so far that’s why I am still doing it.

I was looking for a Raptor (it’s an awesome truck) originally then TRD PRO and finally decided to buy an SR5 to build my version of TRD PRO. Since I was looking to change a lot, it took me a while to find something where I don’t have to replace new parts w new parts.

I bought it last year in March so it has been a year already. Most of the people don’t even touch something like this. Already have all the parts for the mods I want to do just don’t have enough time to finish it. Hopefully will be done with all the mods in the next few months. Here is how I got the truck vs. how it stands now.

Are you also getting oil catch cans? I started a thread on it and from what I gathered it's something recommended for super chargers.
