RG 33x12.50 on the XP wheels. Rides good, balanced fine and good in the snow/off-road. Can't speak for the toyos but I love the look of this tire. IMG_5200.jpg

I just changed my stockies out for the regular Toyo a/t, (not a/t/2 extreme). The 275/70/r18 tires are about 1" taller in diam. there's a little rubbing in reverse turning on the little front tire wind flap- which will be removed. They ride great, not as quiet as the stock Michelin 275/65/r18's, but they will work.

You can go directly to the nitto website.
They have all of their sizes listed with specifications like actual diameter, weight, warranty, tire depth etc etc

I just put on a set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/75/18! They look the balls, but there is a slight rub on the front mud flap that will be removed tomorrow!!

I'm not trying to be a punk here so please forgive me if it comes off that way. Just spreading some knowledge for everyone.

It's not quite the same as just adding the weight difference to the truck. You also have to accelerate the rotational speed of that weight.

It's not exact, but if two tires are the same diameter dividing the weight of the heavier tire by the weight of the lighter one will give you a rough percentage of how much additional torque it will take to accelerate the heavier tire at the same rate as the lighter one.

In the case of the 295's here: (69 lbs.)/(64 lbs.) = 1.078 or 7.8% more torque required.

    275's: (64 lbs.)/(58 lbs.) = 1.10 or 10% more torque required.

If you increase the tire diameter with the same weight it's different. You divide the square of the diameters. 295 vs. 275: (34.3 in.)^2/(33.2 in.)^2 = 1.067 or 6.7% more torque required.

If you have a larger and heavier tire you do both and multiply them together.
Comparing Toyo 275 vs. Toyo 295:
    (64 lbs.)/(58 lbs.) = 1.103 or 10.3%
    AND
    (34.3 in.)^2/(33.2 in.)^2 = 1.067 or 6.7%

(1.103)*(1.067)= 1.178 or 17.8% more torque required for the same acceleration.

    That's pretty significant.

Ridge grapplers are as bad as trial grapplers in the snow. From what I’ve heard. I know my trail grapplers are pretty worthless in the snow and they are sipped
