I’m going to PC my wheels (TRD) and bumper caps next month. If anyone wants to get in maybe we can get a group discount. Let me know and we can connect offline. I don’t have a preferred vendor but will take suggestions for sure. I talked to a shop (I’ll have to go back and look it up) and they were well versed when I talked to them about my tundra, but no bias.

Mile High Powder coating did mine and @COMiamiFan at the same time which reduced the cost, and they were negotiable. They messed up the coloring a little, but I wasn’t as bothered by it as some would be. They turned out a little more vanilla than w would’ve liked. You can only really notice when your looking for a difference in color

    I notice everyday
One of these days I might repaint or wrap them so that they are whiter. The lack of perfect white is taking away a few MPH off my speed.

If you use a MGM tint to the powder coat, you will definitely like the results a lot better......

Not yet. I’m trying to figure out timing still. Did you have a company in mind? I’ve been traveling like crazy for work for a month.

@COMiamiFan has done some research already. We ended up going with the guys that added a clear coat and sand blasting for free. Just go whiter than you think. It cures darker than expected

I thought @COMiamiFan didnt like the job? Was that a joke? I’m going black on the TRD wheels and black for the bumper ends.

It’s not quite super white. It’s white, just not as white as the truck. Most folks won’t notice, but we would being perfectionist on our rides.

Alright, so I want MGM bumper caps done. Would you recommend the place you went @Almaboy and @COMiamiFan ? What did you pay for the 4 ends? And what was turn around time?

I would recommend, just make sure you pick right MGM that’s all. For 2 caps I paid about $230??? Mark did his atvthe same time so we split the cost.
