I sat in Sean’s wife’s new Camry and it is bad ass. I think this year they came out with an AWD one....might have to look into that.

Wow Chris! That Taco had quite the impact. The fact that no one got hurt is a blessing for sure. The local weather man was talking about your locale. Those roads can get dicey pretty quick without actually looking that bad. Tough to watch I bet, but was a good thing you were there.

Dang man. I'm very sorry to hear that. It had to be gut wrenching for a bit. Material things can be replaced, family can't. Things can happen in a blink of an eye. Glad everyone is ok.

I agree. This was a 65 mph collision from someone running a red light.

Already been said but the important part is everyone is ok.

She will love the Lexus. I had an RX330 and it was an excellent vehicle. The RX400/450 gets about 32mpg in town so it's not bad on gas at all and the Camry hybrid will get 40-43 in town depending on which year you get. But you can't beat the IS350, nice cars. Wouldn't mind having a convertible version of that myself.

Man! Glad your family's okay and didn't suffer any injuries! I know that puckered your sphincter seeing it happen in front of you!
sounds like it was a close call, sucks about the taco but at least you're still staying in the family!

This being such a scary situation is the only reason i'm letting you get away with that MGM comment......(not saying I'm gonna be buying a white or quicksand in a couple of years :anonymous::anonymous::anonymous:)

Seriously though, damn thankful your family's okay.

LMAO. I told Sean and Jose that if she wrecks this car, her next one is a 1974 Ford Pinto.

What’s the fuel economy on one of those? Getting though the crappy traffic in Colorado Springs might be a whole lot easier.

Good points! If we can find a GS350 AWD, that has way better crash test ratings and is what we should get.

Subaru’s have excellent crash test ratings...lol. She really likes the Crosstrek XV.

Well, after some research, safety rating considerations, and our home location, my wife wants a Subaru.

2018 Crosstrek premium in her favorite color of Silver.

We still don’t know what happened. She was driving on the straightest road out here, and all of a sudden her rear kicked out, truck went sideways and then caught traction and slammed it into the embankment on the other side of the road, and the tree stopped the truck. The truck was not in 4wd. Only thing I can think of is black ice, rear freaked out and traction control took over, hit a dry spot, and this is where it went downhill...quite literally.
