Should I trade in my 15 cm for a 18 cm

i can get a lower apr and gain no years to my loan jus seeing if it is worth it to upgrade

 

I went through the same thought process recently.

Opted to keep my truck (is a '17) and see what happens when the next big design change comes. Based on the issues I've seen reported on the new safety systems I'm kinda glad I opted to hold out.

 

I’m in a 16 and waiting a few more years PAST redesign. 2020?

 

I have yet to trade up (or any trade) and experience a financial benefit, the only one benefiting is the dealer. As to the OP's question, it all depends if the new features are something you want. From what I read here most 2018 owners like the added features, some hate them. I suggest you take a good test drive and see what you think.

 

Same here, but hoping to have mine paid off in the next 2 years or less and keeping it for a long time. I bought mine with the intention of keeping it for years hence why I went with a Toyota and their reliability. In my experience there is usually not a true financial benefit when trading up (unless you have a really in demand and limited vehicle), but it can be worth it to someone if there are new features they really want or are having issues with the current truck. Although every once in a while someone does get a killer deal, just need to be in the right place at the right time.

 

I'd just stay in your '15. Wait until the redesign and then think about trading.

 

Why? that's like trading an orange for an orange. Keep what you've got and get it paid for get out of debt. I have a 15 thats paid for with 50k miles on it and I plan to run it tell about 200-250k miles before considering a new vehicle. What you didn't mention is the total overall cost increase with the 18 what does that add up to?

Nice choice! I traded my '13 CM on my '18 CM. I am really happy with everything, other than the diminished power in the JBL audio system. My '13 probably 60% more volume.
