Would anyone mind sending a message about this petition to the ih8mud staff? That's the land cruiser forum, and the 200 series cruisers and LX570s have the 3UR-FE so hopefully we can get their attention and greatly boost the amount of signatures..

Signed. This should be spread across the 2nd Gen and engine forums as well. This is not exclusively a 3rd gen problem.

I sent the petition link to Toyota, and got this response. I doubt it really means anything but just thought I'd post it here.

Has anyone sent the link to ih8mud yet? Any other forums that anyone can send it to, please do it! I know there's a LexusClub forum and some kind of general Toyota enthusiast forum...

It's reasons like this why Toyota probably won't do anything with this petition. Also, you don't even need to prove you own a Toyota or really have anything to do with the issue, let alone prove you're a real person. Anyone could just make numerous email accounts and go nuts signing petitions. I still signed it, but I'm not getting my hopes up :(.

Maybe make it a requirement if possible to put what kind of vehicle each person drives who signed the petition make it more plausible than just random people spamming the petition

People could also lie about the vehicle they drive, or just not say anything at all. It's very hard to make people do something like that. I don't really think it's too big of a deal though.

I believe I've seen a few people with the 4.6 have this issue. More common on the 5.7, but then again the 5.7 is a more common engine...
