This Freightliner behemoth pulled up outside our lab today. HERO, "Health Emergency Response Operations". Build tag showed December 2015. For some weird reason it was purchased for the Veterans Health Administration????. Keep in mind I live a half mile from the new Aurora VA Hospital boondoggle that Trump will soon enough get squared away. heh heh. I actually worked on a similar "HERO" in Anchorage but was under the Alaska Emergency Management Services Division (or something like that). This was in for satellite up-link/down-link, satellite dish azimuth calibrations. (My cup of tea). Has a Warn B12000 winch on the front and it is a 4X4. Thinkin 12K winch is under-kill and not to mention has cheesy fog(?) lights mounted on the front bumper. Lots of LEDs though and 360 degree cameras. Cheesy fogs probably cost us taxpayers $1K for the pair.

Actually, if you were to walk inside, you would be amazed at what's in there. Maybe they will let me get some innard pics. There were three contract engineers and two VA reps getting in the way. Everything normal. :homer:

looks cool, it reminds of some of the EPA vehicles I drove and operated. I suspect you may have been involved with some of them here in Denver considering your comms specialty.

This was actually the first one. I usually worked on aircraft radar/avionics calibration. Not so much any more.
