Any ideas on where to get replacement trim pieces for windows. Paint is peeling and rubber is cracked? It’s the trim piece above the handle. Thanks

They all peel. You will have have to deal with this on any new piece you buy as time goes. You can paint or touch up yours. Would be cheaper.

I planned on painting them but the rubber part is falling apart so I need to replace the whole thing. Thanks for the help this is my first time on the site and plan on using a lot more!

Try plastic dip..I'm going to give it a go..others have said its better than trying to get paint to stick to it..maybe a bead blast would work better?

    Peeling door window trim.
My window trim is almost all gone and actually like the chrome look. Any idea on removing the remaining flaking black trim cleanly?

I think you’re just gonna have to pick it off LOL. Maybe soak it with an adhesive remover. Also plastic paint scraper. Just have to be creative I guess.

    Goof Off. Acetone. Or, Xylene.

Tape off your rubber window gaskets first.
