    Hey Guys,

I'm looking into installing a backup camera on my 2010 DC. I've been doing some research on the subject and was told that most of these trucks have the harness already ran through the truck for camera and all I've got to do more or less is plug it in and go. That being said, I have a few questions. I climbed under the truck and found what I think is the harness that everyone has described. So, I guess my main question is where does the other end of this harness come out at? My truck doesn't have the navigation or a rear view with a screen in it. So, I'm assuming it's either got to come out under the dash or up inside the headliner someplace.

Also, I did a search and didn't have much luck on finding a thread where anyone had done this, so if someone has a link, or has any experience doing this, I'd love to hear from you! Thanks in advance!

Here's the harness I was talking about:

I guess another question, I found this monitor for a rear view camera that's OEM for a 2007, 2008, 2009 Tundra and Sequoia. So, what's different in these trucks from 2009 to 2010 which is what I've got? Would this still work? If not, what are my options for a display other than buying a $500-$600 navigation head unit?

    Not nearly enough room here!
Hi Devin, I went through the same searches/researches for my 2010 DC. Finally bought a $50 Auto-Vox M1 rear camera from Amazon. (This is a simple 2-wire hook-up) The reviews are what helped sell-me on it. Picture quality and camera location is ideal for my uses. Screen is over 4" long and sits up out of 'line of site' on the dash by a neat "lock-on" mount. I have pics on my cell if you'd like to see 'em.

I got this for sale also if interested

The length of the harness for the rearview mirror, is where the other part of harness is in the overhead. Remove the middle overhead console 4 screws, and it falls down. Can’t miss seeing the harness.

The harness by the Tire is the plug n play for your camera

That monitor doesn’t give you best view as it’s facing more backwards and not angled at your seating position

Devin, did you ever figure out where the other side of this harness is? I just bought a factory OEM camera for my ‘13 sequoia and have it plugged in. But I have no clue where the other end is?

Has anyone ever found the grommets that go from the tail gate to the bed for the oem camera wiring?
