So wife and I agreed we would get 2 k each from tax return....

I've already lifted/leveled/stereo, led inside and out and headlights/fogs....I'm thinking Bed cover, off road lights ... what other enhancements do you recommend?

Bed cover for sure. That’s next on my wish list. You already have a beautiful truck. Not sure what else I’d do to it. Maybe tail lights?

Idiot here. I got about three grand coming back. If I change my withholdings, my luck would be I would owe. And I’m not good at saving. I kind of like the surprise at the end of the year.

I would prefer to pay $100 then get 3K back. It took some trail and error as far as dialing in my withholdings.

Like I said I’m an idiot LOL. If you made my paycheck larger I would spend it all the same and not notice any more money in my pocket LOL. For me the three grand I put towards insurance for the year and some type of family vacation. It works for me.

I’ve got three savings accounts and 2 checking. My second savings account and checking account are an old one. I deposit money in that and don’t carry a debit card or checks with me. It’s kind of a “Holy shit I need some money account” ha ha.

This year as soon as I found out how much I was getting back I bought a bunch of crap for my truck. I don’t even have the money yet!

I like to use the word clutch. I’m a clutch!

If you’re going to do that I say color match the grille surround and bulge then vinyl wrap the bumpers in black. I think that would look nice and a little different from others.

You would have to put your vin in to confirm that these are the correct parts for your truck but to give you an idea check this out. About $522.17 plus shipping LOL you could also probably order a grill from a 17 or older with your color code but get the pro. You just need to surround. Then you could sell the pro insert and get some money back.

    Best color!

color match the grill surround and hood bulge at least, corners maybe if you dont have plans to replace your bumpers in the future.

I waited about 2 years to make that decision and i visited my body shop to see the parts painted. man its bitchin.

edit: i paid $170 for the hood bulge and grill surround to be color matched. no reputable shop will warranty the work on sanded off chrome parts, but i have faith that it'll stand up.. i might xpel or those parts though.

IMO black bumper ends is pretty played out and gives a cheapy vibe to the beautiful blue color we have.

i'm going to give a shot at using duplicolors shadow chrome to give it a dark chrome look. its a cheap option that i won't feel bad about if it looks like shit or i get rid of the stock bumpers later on.

Find a spare set of chrome end caps and have them de-chromed and painted. Then sell your chrome ones.
