What's up yall, I'm looking into getting some 37s and keeping my current rims. The 20s or 22s with a nice offset and deep dishes look nice, I can't keep myself out of the mud and whatever else I can get into. I'm wanting more tire and don't want to upgrade rims because they won't stay looking pretty. I've been looking around and can't seem to find tundras with lots of sidewall. Anyone herr running nice size tired with some 18s or 17s? If so... post some pics

@SoCalDave is too I think. Check the speed glampers (SGU). Several of those guys are running the RW 17" wheels with at least 35s.

Nothing about my rig says "what's dirt" lol. And the stuff I get into, I'll need the sidewall

13.5 youre going to run into a lot of rubbing issues unless youre on a bracket lift...try to stick with a 37x12.5..i have pics in my build and i run the toyo RT(one of the bigger 37s) with 2in of lift and no rubbing unless im flexing with the wheel turned

I'm running 37x12.5r17 and rub a little bit in reverse at full lock. You might rub a little more with 13.5s.

    We ran 37x13.5 on a 18x9 +18 offset rim.

    2” lift

No rub. Just have to trim some shit outa the way. I wrote it up in our build thread. The pic in my sig will take you there or search ‘komodo’ on this site. Offset is the key factor in larger tires

Now we run 37x12.5 on 17x8.5 0 offset beadlocked Methods.

    2” lift

No rub. Had to get a tad more aggressive on the body mount chop and we use heimed uppers to make alignment adjustments. That lets us push the lower control arm as far forward as possible to clear the body mount better.

Thanks for all the input fellas. I'm getting a stage2 lift and cranking my 5100's to 2.5 and throwing deavers in the rear and want to keep my 18's. @KevinK thanks for the pics and description bud. Ton of help. Nice to see y'all are into more then just crawling through malls and using this bad boy for what's worth.

I'll be honest, I like 20's on the tundra as it is more proportionately sized and with 35's it looks like it has alot of rubber but then the price for tires is steep. Before you hate on me, I know, Im getting 17" wheels with 35's. The only benefit of my OEM 20's right now is the MPG's with stock tires.
