Glad I got the Tundra and dident let my wife talk me into the Ford F150.
First time truck Owner and I just love it. Bought it stock with no add ons except spray in bed linner and remote start. I just bought weather tech floor mats and wind deflectors for the windows. also 4 inch nurf bars and some new wheels and tire to beef it up a bit also added fender flairs. Know the wife wants my credit card..LOL gonna post some pics soon.

I'd love to have the Toyota remote start. I think I read somewhere that it shuts the truck off when you open the door...is that true?

My aftermarket remote start only shuts the truck off when you get inside and touch the brake pedal without putting the keys in the ignition (as it should be)...

I like it on these cold winter mornings, just remember to set the defroster on the night before and it's already going in the morning.

That's exactly what I'm looking for.

If they could set it up more like the aftermarket (doesn't shut off if you put the key is in the ignition) I'd go that route.

I got the viper remote from the factory, when I finally get the truck I will post about it.

Another thing I don't like is if you turn the seat heaters on the night before, use the remote starter, the seats still don't start working until you sit in them. What brain dead guy came up with a reason for that? Someone smarter then me needs to figure out a mod to change this. I'm sure it is just a wire that needs to be cut that senses when there is weight in the seat. But that is probably the same wire that triggers your air bags to deploy if someone is in the seat. Anyone?
