**GROUP BUY** 18 LED Headlight PNP Harnesses (UP TO 40% off)

I did read the threads through and through and asked for help from eledobleu on his contact us link directly twice with no response. Great product just frustrating to be left hanging. Thanks to you guys on the forum after reading the posts I found the clarification on the wiring as what to do. I didnt want to ask ihacker to help me when i didnt buy from him i thought that was asking a lot. Inferno did a great job helping as well. Regarding install the instructions probably seem really easy when you know how to do wiring but for a novice there wasnt much to work with. Again I love the lights and the wiring is top notch but more support would have been appreciated.

 

I understand. Never having messed around with wiring before (on this truck), I read everything I could related to the process and issues that others had. I had a hard time visualizing the tasks until I actually jumped in, but I don't like working that way. So, I took the information I found, copied it into a Word document and used that as my guide. I had one document for the '18 LED fog lights and another for the '18 headlights (good tips and tricks on the fogs!). Turned out both were easier than I thought but the differences between the 1794/Platinum and the other models confused me since there were only 2 wires instead of 3. I went ahead and moved the wires per the above and everything worked the first time - I was pretty well impressed! All installation and reference questions were answered by folks on the forum in addition to the installation instructions provided.
The next thing I did was order LED replacement bulbs to upgrade all of the remaining standard bulbs to LED. So, now my truck has all LED lights inside and out (inside dome, map, vanity, footwell and outside puddle, turn, marker, brake, 3rd brake, cargo and backup...whew).

 

do these come with leveling motors

 

I do believe that the leveling motors are included. That Is a great deal....if it included shipping. When I do an order it shows that shipping is over 50 bucks to my front door.

 

Yes, the 2018 OEM LED headlamps come with leveling motors. Used 'em today...

Anyone replaced retrofit projectors with these new led headlamps? How are they as far as brightness and cutoff line?

Second week of March.

 

Project complete, with the exception of the foglights, yes they are yellow compared to those new leds. New led fog bulbs on the way! Here are a few pics. Was straight forward install. Thanks to eledobleu for the harness and Roman for the headlights. For those FRACers out there, mounted the camera right below the letters. Great view and can barely see the threaded stud.

 

How long did the instal take?

 

Roughly 2 1/2 hours. I had to put my painted surround back on the pro grille, and assemble my hood buldge.

 

looks sweet!im about to order my headlights and then wait for the spring sale on the harness since I missed out on the last GB

 

Save up for the 18 fog lights or at least the led bulbs too, cause if you like me, you ain't gonna like those yellowish fogs. I upgraded to the Silverstar bulbs a while back, looked 100 times better than stock, but even those look yellowish up against the leds. Can only imagine would look worse with stock bulbs.

 

ya I'm hoping to get it all at once or close to it,my pro grille will be here next week so I'm building a parts pile for now lol
