TundraDude34 on Youtube had a video about different CAI systems and basically said save the money and get the air flow accelerator and a good filter like the TRD or others. Don't know if I gained anything but like I said she'll whistle under a little load and it makes me happy :).

By the looks of it it should increase the intake volume before the filter. And other than the tube and the larger box lid it should be close to volume of air as the Trd intake.

Good looking out man! Now I feel better about what I bought. And I was able to buy a bunch of other fun stuff and still stay under the cost of a half priced TRD intake. I’ll take it!

Took out the GTR LED headlight lamps and put back in the Philips Ultinon LED lamps. I've done this swap so many times recently it takes all of ~20 minutes.
    Philips to stay.
    yay Philips, boo GTR.

@Rngr188 thanks, from your suggestion earlier I did look him up and watch that video.

Just ordered the 1a auto tow mirrors. The reviews I’ve been reading recently on here have been very good, so I figured I’d save the $200 vs buying OEM to put towards other upgrades

    Crazy beam scatter.
I've had both brands in and out enough now to make a fair comparison(my own opinion of course). I tried to doodle a little picture of the GTR beam pattern and I realized it looked kinda like Batman's mask. The eye holes are the beam hot spots, and the pointy ears are the scatter above the hot spots. Off to the sides, up in the trees- like looking for raccoons...
The Philips have a cleaner beam pattern.
When I first tried the GTR I may have psyched myself into believing the reviews saying they are soooooo much brighter than everything else out there. Meh. Maybe they are a little brighter than the Philips. Maybe. Enough to justify the quality issues I had plus the crazy light pattern? Nope. I'm surprised I didn't get flashed or waved off with them.

Shackle install was very simple. The hardest part was pressing out the old bushings.

Added a different type of wireless charger in the front of my console. The unit I bought is a package made for cars/trucks as its very thin, has a non slip ring on top and 3M adhesive to attach the unit. I followed some others to hard wire it into one of the 12V outlets using a 12V to 5V converter wire. Here's what I bought and a picture of it installed:
