295/70/18 on and it's rubbing a bit at full turn

    alright fellas, 295/70/18 are on and rubbing a bit at full turn on the front liners.
    I removed them for now but what's the best way to mold them in ?
    I have a heat gun :)

    cab mount is clearing as well. Probably have 3/4 of an inch there

    I am no help other than this. I doubt you need to do is drastic of a modification is this guy did. Just maybe relocate the front of the fender liner.

    I gained a little over an inch of ground clearance and saved 4 lbs total so I'll take that :)

    I just unscrewed the liners, pushed them up and in front of where they screwed in. Didn’t retap or anything, there’s brought tension on em to hold them in place. When the coilovers are compressed they’ll rub them a little at full lock, the plan was to get an aftermarket bumper down the line and then I won’t have anymore issues.

    EDIT: I do seem to remember hearing about another fix for this, it involved loosening the screws on the OEM bumper and moving it forward.

    I think dirty deeds makes a spacer kit to move your bumper forward a half an inch.

    But those shims are $110 for a pair? So if you stack 2 on each side, $220??? :confused: Yikes. I would just make my own.

    Or you could be a dick and order them. Trace them onto pieces of steel as a template and make your own. Then sell them!
    I did something similar with my rear seat fold down MOD. I ordered the brackets then copied the pattern to my my OEM ones then repackaged the ones I bought. I just need to sell them someday.
