I recently just picked up a chrome Toyota exhaust tip but I doesn’t fit.

Do you have to cut down the tail to the smaller diameter?

The tip for the Tundra should slide over the flared end of the tailpipe and there are two half moon shaped shims that wrap around the smaller diameter of the tailpipe right behind the flare. The tip slides over the half moons and clamps into place. Not sure if that helps but if yours won't fit over the flare I'd say it's not for a Tundra. Tacoma maybe?

Just message the tail a bit to relax it, tip should fit afterwards......
