The day I installed this was below zero outside. I didn’t bother shortening or soldering any wires, just used positaps and got it installed. Needless to say there is a nest of wires. If I go back and start cleaning them up one by one will I have to reprogram?

Goes from 5+ wires to cut/tap, into 1 (key sense I believe).

I’m not sure about the 3rd gen, but the key sense isn’t needed on 2nd gen.

I ordered last Friday, but have not received shipping info yet. So not sure how long I'll be waiting for it. I emailed them tonight to see if they could give me an estimate. Will update you guys with what they say.

So, this T-Harness is all that's needed, to make these units 'Plug & Play'? I have a 2010.

    Go to: http://fortin.ca/en/vehicles/toyota/tundra/

Input your vehicle and see if it recommends the THAR-ONE-TOY7 harness.

    As such:
    2018: No, not yet
2010: G-Key, yes; Standard key, apparently not.

Yes! Ordered from Car Systems Installation in Canada. They were very responsive! Ordered February 23rd and received it yesterday on the 28th. Ordered the EVO One preflashed from Anderson Electronics like the OP. I've never done anything electronic in a vehicle, so took me about an hour and a half just trying to find all the connections and double checking the instructions. But with the THAR-ONE-TOY7 I didn't cut/tap ANYTHING. I have a 2014 Tundra.

Looking at the website for 2010 model year; if you have a standard key it recommends THAR-ONE-TOY2 (I don't know if there is cutting and tapping with this), but if you have a G Key you will use the THAR-ONE-TOY7 like I did and I can vouch that it is 100% plug and play.

Looking at the 18 on the fortin website, it is not showing THAR-ONE-TOY7 recommendation/compatibility with H Key that you have, so I'm not sure if you'll have more involvement. The Anderson Electronics guy on eBay is very thorough and knowledgeable about the systems. Direct message him and he can probably tell you what you need!

That's extremely promising. So you have an extra wiring harness from the Ebay kit?

Look on one side of the base of the key near the black part, mine has a 'G' etched into it.

I just got mine back in after re-flashing it to work on lock-unlock-lock. The triple-lock was triggering my alarm fairly often. Working perfectly now.

    See fine print
Go to fortins website and input your truck. It will tell you if it’s compatible and what you need.

If I add the RF will my stock key fob still work for remote start (along with the RF)? Want the RF for coming off the lake and getting that car cool before I'm 100ft away.
Bummer the new harness wont work on an 18 :(

You mean 1000FT ‘cause I tried my OEM remote 200FT away without obstructions and it work ok, and yes the OEM still work if you add the RF fob.

The new harness seems to work fine in 2018s check this video, this is the same Fortin EVO ONE they just sell the unit rebranded and Overpriced just buy somewhere else for le$$

Yep. Both will work, but ive noticed when i use my OEM remote to get in the alarm dash icon will have a slow blink. when i unlock with the RF remote, it stays off.. it doesn't effect the truck at all.

The 2way function of the remote only tells you if the truck responded to your lock/unlock/remote start, not notification of alarm going off.

TOY7 is not compatible with 2018 trucks, it was at some point but now it shows like it won't work.
