fellas I 100% figured out my creak noise on my 17 tundra. you could only hear it in the cab and it always came from high passenger side behind dash. only noticeable from a complete stop and take slight take off. well after lubing, torquing, and spinning my wheels. I found it. the eco harness grommet that hangs off the firewall on a bracket with 3 10 mm bolts. well that rubber retainer would creak when the engine would shift under load. finally. hope this helps someone else,

I found the same problem on my 2016. I put a zip tie around the grommet and bracket. I went for a drive and no noise3266F0C0-060B-43D2-9841-ED0132DF6ED2.jpg

I did the same thing. Its actually the ECU housing that is making the rattling sound. The way the harness is attached to the bracket transfers engine vibrations to the firewall creating the weird but annoying rattle. Zip tying it instead reduces the vibrations transferring to the firewall. I found that out but leaving the hard clipped in, wrapped a tshirt around the ECU from under the dash and the noise went away.

Trade them in for a 2016. Mine has no such problem. :)

I haven't noticed this on my 2018, but now I'll know what to do if it ever creeps up. Thanks!

I wrapped the ECM and did the zip tie thing. Still the same creak, rattle, tap, ticking noise

I was wondering what the creak was under acceleration, I'll do this and see if it solves my issue, thanks!
