Silly question. Do you folks trim the rug to fit the rails? Or mount the rails over?

I trimmed mine. Cuts easy and comes out if you need it too.

Trimmed mine, use my rails. Doubt the rails would work well with the rug behind.

Fits over the rug fine. Only rail that didn’t was the front one, I left it off cause I’m doing a roll up tonneau anyway. Sorry, only pic I could find atm31A97373-8508-4628-97F2-F4E12E1A7416.jpg

Thanks all! Just trimmed enough so there's a bit to wedge under the rails. Some wrinkles but too noticeable if you don't pay attention.
Do you folks know if the rug was supposedly shaped to exactly fit in all the stamped indentations and groves on the sidewalls?

I started to put the rails over mine, but the front rail was a problem due to the attached fixed length bracket. The rug was too think to fir the front rail over it. Got tired of messing with it and just trimmed it.
