Embarrassing as it is to admit I busted a taillight backing into my driveway last week. Got a little too close to the house and pop, my right taillight was destroyed. Found an OEM replacement for $50 so I quickly calmed down. Then came my awesome wife to make things even better - “hey put that $50 towards those LED lights you’ve been looking at”. DONE! After about 2 hours of scouring the site and shopping I settled on the Spyder red smoke and I am more than pleased! Perfect fit, quick easy install, and they look fantastic. 2 day Amazon delivery made the deal even better. Now I need a good third brake light to compliment the upgrade. Any recommendations?8A1F7C1E-C819-47A2-9382-7473918439E9.jpg837A607B-E94A-4239-AA29-E7456F1E80F7.jpg847A4A07-FBE1-43BF-89FE-038F6EA614C0.jpg541FCB70-D190-41D8-9374-79B254DBD440.jpg

I also have been eyeing those, how much did you find them for?

I've done the 3rd brake light. Especially seeing what you chose, I would recommend you tint the OEM lens. You'll avoid removing your head liner, you can pop in led bulbs and it will always be serviceable from outside the cab. Most (perhaps not all) aftermarket 3rd brake light assemblies don't have removable covers. Just my .02

Great choice. I got the same ones. I like how they look OEM and even got lucky on a “used” pair from Amazon for $160 shipped.

I’m calling wife fraud on this one. Like insurance fraud you “accidentally” backed into the garage so you could talk the wife into an upgrade.

    Jk man. Looks good.

Nice looking lights, post some night pictures. I have read somewhere that the aftermarket lights have fitment issues but you say they fit perfectly? Do they have resistors for the turn signal bulbs?

Those are actually really nice looking, most aftermarket ones I've seen look cheesy.

Should. Don’t recall the part # but it should give you an option based upon vehicle year/make/model.

These look a lot darker in the pictures here than they do on Amazon. I like them a lot. Are they this dark in person?

Even the pictures I’ve taken look darker than in person. For me it was the perfect shade of smoke/tint. Here’s another angle for comparison. A302C3B3-4FE1-4DBC-86DB-1B577CA894D2.jpgC8F40977-A10F-48B0-BB35-7DE42A12D3F7.jpg

The more I look at these the more they remind me of the Chevy Silverado

Might try that little trick myself...

Maybe I’ll do the front lights too, along with the chrome bumper ends
