Installed it last night after I got home from having the Icon lift installed!
WOW- The 18" Rack is pretty amazing. At first I was overwhelmed with, what I thought, was a lack of directions. My Bad! This was WAY easy to understand, put together and get on the Tundra! I was able to mount the TRED1000s using the TRED mounting plate to the top rail.

Bummed that I added the MaxTraxx mount thinking that it would somehow work with the TREDs, but that is on me. I am sure I will find use for the mount.

I do need to figure out the best way to mount my HiLift jack. Any thoughts Chad? I tried rigging the OEM HiLift mount that I had on my 4Runner rack, but the mounting points wouldn't work, plus I am worried about the thin metal on the side flexing over time with the weight of the Hi-Lift. Maybe the top crossbars? Thoughts?

Also will the RotoPax mounts simply attach to the side support beams?

Thank you so much for your speedy delivery as we head out on our 2000 mile trip this weekend!

You do know that I'm stealing these pics, right?

For the Hi Lift, run a long 5/8" bolt through the jack and into the side plate. Fender washers are your friend. I'd use a wing nut for quick access to the jack.

Any chance you could take a pic level with the top of the rack? I’m considering this rack but would like to see the relation to the roof line of the cab. Thanks!

Do you mind measuring the width of the rack along the top bar? Trying to figure out how much room I’ll have after mounting my RTT. Thanks again.

My contribution to this thread. Man is this Rack well built, and I am incredibly happy with it thus far, but those instructions need work it basically says here is picture of a rack use parts provided to make yours look similar. I kid.

Any info you can share as to where the axe mounts you are using in this picture came from.

Mine is the Double fist with the 1.125" tube diameter. Depending on your rack, you would need either a tube clamp mount or a flat.

    Nice rack.

My wife is not liking this site at all. Everyday I come up with a couple more things I “Need”.

    LOL

How's visibility out the rear-view mirror with the 10" high rack?

I like the lower profile looks of the 10" rack, vs. the 18" one, and think it'd help keep an RTT a little lower - to help with fuel economy and to keep from snagging low hanging trees - but it looks like it kills your use of the rear-view mirror. Especially once you mount a RTT on it.

I'm still curious about 2 things with this rack

1: Will it fit over a Diamondback Bedcover?
2: Is it tall enough to mount a full size roof rack on it that will overhang the cab?
