I saw this the other day as well. Did look like pretty good deal. Anyone else with a Torq have some feedback?

That is a great machine. For the price point, I'd recommend it.

I already do. I’ve got no leverage here. Especially with the new sound system being installed in my truck today.

I have the Torq and it works well. Variable speed, good pads, and comfortable to use. The location of the dial to change the speed isn't the greatest as I find myself sometimes accidentally adjusting it, but it happened less and less as I got used to it. I would buy again and would recommend.

Hope that helps some of you on the fence!

I've used one, but ended up going with the Griots Garage 6" DA instead. Similar power band, same throw, but with less vibration. It's a little more money, but was available with a longer cord, and it came with a lifetime warranty. I've had some experience with the CG HexLogic pads they show. They're okay, but I've since switched to a thinner pad. If you like them, when you buy more, upgrade to the HexLogic Quantum...they dissipate heat better than the standard. The orange (cut) pad is pretty versatile. I found their V-line of polishes/compounds to be a little disappointing. In my experience, you'll get better results with the combo of Meguiars M105 and M205.

A torq buffer is just a rounding error if you're adding a sound system
