    Hi!

So I finally got around to getting a new tundra.

I went for the 2016 tundra 1794 edition.

I am still waiting to take delivery but it "should" be here tomorrow. I am super excited about this.

One thing that I wanted to change/mod was the addition of a supercharger.. too bad TDR has discontinued them.

Anyways really looking forward to an awesome truck

Welcome! @Roman can hook you up on a S/C. Pretty sure he still has some in stock.

What did you have before the Tundra?

I have gmc sierra 1500. single cab with step side bed. It need a little tlc.

And as far as the s/c goes, I taught that on the 2016 model there was no s/c for it.

The first thing I want to add is a PowerTraxPRO. Does anyone have experience with that particular roll up? and yeah also want to add a S/C.

The dealer will tint the windows for me when I come back from a work assignment in LA for free. I have bought another vehicle fro the same dealer and they did a very good job on my last tint.

You'll probably need to see if Magunson has any after market programming available yet for the S/C.

    Congrats on getting your vehicle!

Well, I drove my truck from south Texas to LA over the weekend.

I am not impressed with my dealer at all. The whole waiting for the truck to get to the dealer from the "factory" was total B/S in my opinion. Why would a windshield, when fogged up show round marks as is a GPS or other mounting accessory was attached to the glass? And why would the glass be "oily" the kinda that you can only see when it fogs up?

I think that the truck was used by someone in the dealership and when it came time to sell it, they reset the miles IMO. I have heard of people changing milage on new cars, including digital odometers. Technically I was sold a new car because it was never titled, but still I am really disappointed in this.

There were other little things that I found that seemed odd for a new car, but I did not find them till I was put over 1500 miles.

    :(

That's odd. How many miles were on it when you picked it up? Sometimes the managers drive cars home but they end up selling them at a markdown when they are at a thousand or so miles. I don't think a dealership would roll back miles. Too risky for them.

58 miles. And the reason why I think that the OD was rolled is because I had a good friend offer to introduce me to someone he know that does that, so I totally belive it to be possible to roll back a digital OD. and I think that the dealer did that.

Don't get me wrong. I love the truck. Its just that the new car experience was ruined a bit for me.

It is possible, but if you bought from a large dealership, I highly doubt that was done. A small, mom and pop shop car dealer? Sure, I can see that as they have less to lose if caught.

I'm going to run a Carfax report in a few, but more specifically, is there a way to tell by plugging into the ECM if it has been factory reset or something like that, going thru the logs (I don't know shit about what is stored in the ECM)
