I wonder what happened to the piss on Ford and Chevy cartoon characters that use to be popular. Don't see them any more. I might consider one if it was real small and had the blue oval, gold bow and ram on it.

We have a sticky titled "what have you done to your Tundra today". I wonder if the Ford and Chevy forums have one titled "what have you fixed on your truck today"?

Diesel fanboys crack me up. It seems to be a fad around here where I live to daily drive a diesel even if you don’t have anything to pull or use it for work. Been meaning to ask one of the guys how many inches it adds down below.

I'm familiar with that site and found while researching Tundras. Did you do the Tundra year comparison with respect to complaints, pretty interesting.

After spending time browsing Ford and Chevy forums when I was researching before purchasing and actually being a member of the Titan forum (used to own two), I'd say this forum, the Chevy, and the Ford forums in general are all equally "intolerant" of other brands. People on the Titan forum were pretty unbiased when it came to other brands, and there was a lot of love for Tundras over there (which is partially what led me to buy one!). The Toyota/Ford/Chevy forums generally think their brand is the "truth" and completely dump on everything else.

To be expected. They spend a lot of $$ on their trucks so the brain tries to justify the purchase and ends up tricking them into believing that the vehicle is superior. A lot of people have blind loyalty to certain brands as well. Like my dad, he will always be a GMC guy no matter how many times I have to pick him up from the mechanic.

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
    This ^^^^^
There's a reason that our ninjas in oz and the sand box use Hiluxes. Reliability!
My family has had Toyota's for years...two of which had over 300K miles.

Facts are the Fords and Chevy's although are marketed as "American" have more Mexican and Canadian-made parts than any other truck. The facts are that Toyota's history of quality control (throughout their evolution from textiles, to machining and ultimately vehicles) is far superior.
    Oh, no....the mic's slipping....
