My front stock skid plate was starting to look pretty hammered and I counldnt stand removing the entire skid each time for an oil change. So it was time for a new skid.
Went with RCI OFFROAD Steel since it was a great price and the steel would be strong! Thanks RCI!

Added an ENGINE BAY LIGHT since Toyota opted not too. Fairly easy install. Used 1 15w rock light and dang it’s plenty bright.

Hardest part was fishing the wires thru the hood.

Do our trucks come stock with a magnetic drain plug or is that aftermarket?

They come stock! Definitely the rear and front differential drain bolts are magnetic. Transfer case I can’t remeber if it was or not.

Wanted to do something different so fab’d up some custom mounts for the envelope holder location.

Not sure how to explain how I made the mounts but bolted up some aluminum and tapped the 10-32 holes that I can mount a plate to with the switch panel. Used some ABS plastic for final touch.

Thanks guys! this custom mount was honestly a PITA. trying to mount metal to plastic is very challenging esp when trying to keep things hidden and looking clean and factory. i really don't know if there is any way to make a bolt on mount like this without a lot of custom work. for now I'm happy to share my ideas and how i did it!

Negative. No drivers lean at all. Measurements came out with less than 1/4" difference each side. Both coils are adjusted exactly the same.

Dont want to be "negative nelly" here, is that out of the box new measurement? Wait a few and let things settle in. Pretty sure you will end up with dreaded "Tundra Lean"...

I had the king shocks for 2 years before readjusting the lift. I did before and after measurements when cranking down the coil. Still no lean. I always try to take measurements exactly the same way and most importantly to drive the truck down the road after adjustment to let things get back to normal then back to measure. Even if there was any sort of lean it can be adjusted in alignment to drive correct.

    Full size spare
Did this a while ago just haven’t added to my build. Picked up a used tire for cheap.

Now that I have a full size spare I won’t ever need to use it! Right? Haha

    Extreme Led Lighting
    38” X6S slim series
4” falcon led pod for fogs
    DFBF6F79-C429-4BF7-AC96-E7B7031236F4.jpg

Finally updated my lighting off the front. I wanted to mount a slim bar into my hood bulge. And I wanted to add pods in the fog location that point out not straight. So I made my own fog light bracket. I went with the large 4” pods and with the bracket I made they fit perfectly into the fog location while still looking very clean.
No I’m not cool enough to buy the best Baja Designs lighting out but I have to say I’m very very impressed with my purchase. Extreme led has basically a Baja replica and the lumens and wattage is very similar. Love that I can have the side ambers on separate from the center spot beam.
Way less money and honestly for a truck that is not racing or in need of high speed lighting these do the job very well!
Here’s some photos of the backets I made myself to mount the bar and pods!
