Found a guy local who quoted me $300.00 to powder coat the bumpers. Does that sound reasonable? The only issue there is having to remove them myself. That looks like a pain in the ass. He said it would take a week.

That's really high. I paid $70 for the front, and my guy is a pro that does fabulous high-end work (choppers, other bikes, hot rods, and other industrial coatings) and came highly recommended.

Ok. Thanks for the input. I had no idea what a competitive price range was for this.

Got the bumpers powder coated finally. They turned out pretty much perfect. I only put the front ones on. I couldn’t get the damned rear ones off for the life of me. I’m going to try and find somebody to help with them.

I do wonder about that. Black is probably the easiest to match. Somebody here had some done to match MGM, and it wasn’t close at all.

I am seriously considering this one with 6k hid
    https://www.protuninglab.com/hidxe20totul.html

I've had Osram's on my prev vehicle and they were amazing. My concern is that in the description it says level adjustment is lost with these. I am not sure if that is accurate because I should be able to just move the ones from my SR5 to the new ones? They are spyder headlights and I think people do that.

By the way, when I was messing with the front bumper, I noticed that there is no skid plate. The part where the plastic on the front bolts to it was just hanging there. Is that normal?

Skid plate as in your engine cover below? It is not normal. I think non TRD ones come with a plastic ones and TRD ones has a metal one. I bought my truck used and it was missing it and I put a skid plate from RCI. If you bought it new, ask your dealer for sure. If used, it is somewhat common. OEM one comes off completely for oil changes so I was not surprised that mine was not put back on and was lost.

It’s been six months. Probably won’t do any good to ask the dealer. Never noticed it until now, so it may have come off during an oil change.

Put some rock lights on yesterday. The ones I put on the nerf bars made too much of a spot, so I’ll probably move them. These play along with music also, which is pretty cool.

Kit I used, along with a light bar harness, which had the power leads, relay, switch, and fuse included. Made the install pretty easy. Hardest part was arranging all the extra wire up out of the way.
I left the switch under the hood, since I can turn these in and off with my phone.

Going through old pics, found the one from when I bought it. Before and after. (So far)

I paid 300.00. I believe others have gotten it cheaper, but this guy was a mile from my work.

Thanks! That was 300 for just the front two and you disassembled yourself? Just trying to see what’s fair before I look in my area

It was for all four, plus the exhaust tip. I did have to disassemble them myself.
