What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Hmm.. don’t kno where to start! Went to get my TRD dual exhaust done, bought LEDS for the interior/exterior from HR and MATTE BLACK EMBLEMS to finish the day.. Let the brokenness begin!

 

Took off my front sway bar and since I had to remove the front tow hook to do it , painted the tow hooks with peelable paint.

 

After just over a week of ownership, and mods everyday to get ready for this trip, we started out crossing 4 states. Currently, we are in Utah after hitting Vegas. Took some much better shots with the D850, I’ll post when we return!

 

Added sound deadener to the rear doors and had the kenwood retuned now that everything is broke in....in Love all over again with the stereo! Also swapped out the matte black dash kit for the silver trimmed metra kit.

 

is that a gen 3 thing ? only thing I had to remove was my skid plate

me likey those red tow hooks. I might do the same..lol

 

I didn’t want to remove the entire skid because it’s a pita w the RCI. So I just removed the front bolts but wasn’t enough clearance to pull it out. With the tow hook off it was enough.

Added door sill protectors. I can't understand how people can get in a vehicle and step on the painted surface. I grew up learning from my dad to keep things like that in mind . I have had the truck for 2 weeks and the passenger side was already scratched.

 

The carbon fiber door sill protector looks nice, where did you get it?

 

Ordered a Covercraft Sunshade with Carhartt logo today. I used my previous one for a good 8 plus years!

Put my RCI skids on yesterday. Need to order the tank skid, found scrapes on the belly and dirt under the straps of the tank.

 

Nice Shane, all armored up. Don't get the RCI tank skid. It's got bolts that hang down and might cause more problems than not having it.

Heading to O'Reilly's to have them verify the 4-year old battery needs replacing (and that the alternator is fine) then buying the best AGM battery they have.
