Hi Dexter, I bought a 2018 Platinum CrewMax 4X4 with bed lights, spray in liner, popalock tailgate lock and moonroof. Price before TTL was 48213 if you took the rebate. I elected to take the 0% / 60 months in lieu of rebate. So MSRP 55313 sale price 49713. Figure on 9.5% off msrp before rebate.

    Good luck!

I bought an 18 1794 4x4 with moonroof and about $800 in other accessories for a little under 47 before TTL.

FJ cruiserguy,Mine was before TTL. I also traded in a 2008 FJ Cruiser, they gave me $16,000 trade, NADA trade value and KBB was $13K. The FJ is one of the most demanded cars in the used market now. Even Carmax was going to write a check for $16K.

Carmax could easily sell an used FJ for over $22k in today’s market. I bought my FJ back in 07 and its a keeper with only 82k miles.
Thanks for the info pricing your 2018 platinum. Now I’m ready to shop around for my new Tundra.

So 48 was all inclusive minus your upgrades.
If so, you got a great deal.

Have you tried selling it yourself instead? Almost always "gotcha" if you trade.
A mercedes dealer once had the nerve to offer half the resale value for my trade while charging full MSRP for the Benz(POS/LOL). I ended up selling it myself for twice as much. It was a one year old car with 10K miles.
What's the MSRP of the 18 Platinum anyway?
I sold two of my vehicles last week on cargurus.com at market value. im shopping for my new TRD limited offroad...in no hurry though.

The 18 Plainum 4X4 fully loaded MSRP is about $54-55K.

8000 off sticker is a steal.
Buy it from a State with no sales tax.

Doesn't work in Tx. As soon as you try to transfer registration they nail you.

I could get away with that because I might see the local yocals in my neighborhood every other month. In the DFW area they will actually note out of state plates and note the date they first saw them. You have 30 days to swap plates. They do this mostly in apartment parking lots. I have a buddy from Pa. that got a ticket not long after moving here. Not sure how prevalent it is now but when we had a lot of out of staters moving in it happened quite often.

I can't seem to get dealers around me to go lower than 48,500 for a 53,xxx plat sticker price.

Mine was 50k including title, tax and tag. Also included: front window tint, black stealth running boards, clear bra front film, LED bed lights. .9% APR as well. I thought this was a pretty good deal.

True invoice on a 2018 Platinum before any Port Installed Options is $46,500.

This includes the delivery charge. It does not include tax, tag, title or other local fees.

If you find a volume dealer at the end of the month, you can get close to that number. If you live in an area where Tundras are not very popular, you may get that number or even a little better if there is some dealer cash or other spiff.

Remember, there is only so much money on the table. If you want the rock bottom truck price, then you won't also get the very best price on your trade in.

When I bought my truck, I emailed 6 dealers in my state, gave them a VIN number of an exact car on their lot, then told them I took half thebday off on the last day of the month to finalize a truck purchase.

4 dealers weren't competitive. 2 gave excellent prices. The extra legwork I did in advance really made the difference.

I literally looked at 20 dealerships in Tx and only a few had the platinum I wanted. MSPR with additions was $55k+ I ended up paying 49,600 + TTL. Had to have it.
