I am install 5100s in the rear and the top 17mm bolt comes out no problem. The bottom bolts are extremely tight. I don’t necessarily have the best tools in the garage but a standard ratchet wrench was not doing the job on the lower 17mm bolt.

Do I need a breaker bar?

Get an air pipe from Home Depot that fits over your wrench. Works great for a breaker bar.

I bought a 15” breaker bar on Amazon. Guess I’m trying my install again on Monday lol.

This, I used a 1/2" pneumatic impact wrench. Or use a box end with a pipe over it and a small maul.

I just did mine. I used a 1/2 inch air gun. No problem. My problem was the top not on the passenger side. I had to cut it off. Doing the front?

You might want to spray some penetrating lube on it right away. Then when you come back to it the lube will have had some time to work its magic.
It it's still a problem, you can carefully try heat.

Twist a large closed end wrench around the ratchet handle. Its a Quick breaker bar to give you more leverage.

I used a 1/2” breaker bar and the bottom bolt was no problem. The top bolt was easy, just not a lot of room there to get your hand to maneuver a ratchet.
