Our '18 is only about 3 weeks old, I can be standing next to the truck and no beeps or anything. I either keep pushing it or wait a few seconds and try again then it works perfectly. Any ideas?

Yep battery sounds low. Do you keep it inside your pocket or where one of the buttons may be pushed? (That'll drain the battery real quick)

Did you try out your second key? That is the first thing I would do.

Trying the second key today. Haven't tried it yet, I was more curious if it was a common problem or not.

In case anyone else has this issue, here is what they found. Both batteries were reading low on the fobs, and one of them has a really short range so they are replacing it. They also did the software recall while it was in.
