Sped through a rough section of the desert, there was a dip, speed was about 40mph. Ooooops! Truck is perfectly fine, king shocks took the abuse like a champ, not the wheel though. Haha, back to stock wheels and tires I go, oh yea the tire on that weak ass wheel is fine.

Shit! Correction, it was more like a rut than a dip, probably created by water, haha

That's a defective wheel IMO. That damage just doesn't look right to me. Glad it didn't cause more problems for ya.

Now I can’t decide between fn wheels or methods, trying to stay hub centric and light wheels and slap some 35’s on em. I called method and they said only 3 models are hub centric, I think con6, vex and forgot the other one

In a pinch if you put the duct tape on the inside of the rim and hammered it somewhat straight, I bet you could set a bead! Hahaha

Yea I’m going for a 17 or 18” wheel, at least the crap pro comps lasted this long, it was cheap and back when I started as a mall crawler now I love the go fast life. All icon wheels are lug-centric, I’m trying to stay hub, it’s personal preference. FN wheels are the lightest but not like rock warrior wheels, if Toyota still sold them I would’ve bought 6. I like the new pro wheel coming out but still not light like the rw wheel.

Any cast aluminum wheel will shatter if you hit it hard. Time to step up to a forged wheel if you like to go fast.

That's pretty nuts, glad the truck is fine.

Pot holes around here do stuff like that to cheap wheels.

I wouldn’t be using those tires anymore either. They have been compressed enough to bend the wheel.

Tires are essentially part of your suspension. Having a lower profile tire and bombing over anything is going to cause this issue....even with any wheel mentioned in this thread.

Yes, Im pretty sure rock warrior wheels is what Im going with, if I could get 6 it would be great!
yea, welp, if i break more ill let yall know

yes, funny thing is these wheels were less than $400 from 4 wheel parts on a sale and I was a brand new tundra owner that did not find out about the go fast life(offroad) yet

true, Im cheap and if I can reuse them I will, but only after a good tire shop inspects it and says its ok
