I have a Northstar in my 2016 Tundra crewmax. I've had the Northstar a little over a year now and it's by far the best battery I've ever owned. The 300 dollar price is steep but i believe in you get what you pay for. I liked the Northstar so much i just bought one for the wifey's 4 runner.

Well it looks like my FIRST unexpected expense for my 2014 Tundra. Over the past few months, when I haven't driven her for a week or so, the battery will sound weak when starting up. But then is fine after driving for a while.

This morning, after a snowstorm last night, I went to remote start her (she had 3 inches of snow) a few times with no luck. (She tried, though.) So I went out there to start her and got that click of death. But my jump starter Black and Decker thing got her going and, now, I'm researching what O'Reilly has since they are right down the street and I can use my military discount.

Darn...looks like they don't have any Optima Yellow Tops in the store ($270 and $298) but they do have an Optima Red Top ($232).....so will also research Auto Zone...may have to settle for the Red Top if it has a good warranty
