Cool. I see you used stacked washers as spacers and added a support to the center of the light. Was that center support put in because of vibration due to the added height? How did you determine where to cut the notches? Lastly how did you like that light bar? Lots of questions sorry.

I used all stainless steel hardware so it wouldn't rust. First thing I did was take the grille off and notch the grille to fit the light bar. It's a lot easier to do off the truck. Then I put the grille back on without the lightbar. Took a measurement of the distance from the new cut opening for the light to the metal OEM bracket. This help me determine how many washers I would need. I had to notch the lightbar brackets to allow the grille to push back all the way. Without the center support the light bar will move and have bounce. You need to make the center support the right length to aim the light at the right angle. This is project that will take some back and forth adjustments. The Rigid Radiance light bar was great. I know there are other light bars that are good as well.

For the center support I used a turnbuckle so I could adjust up or down.

I took the front of my truck apart today. So I've attached the measurements of the holes i drilled to mount the 40" lightbar behind the grille.
Driver side 3 3/16" from the edge.
1/2" back from the front is the exact center point.

Passenger side. 3 3/16" from the edge and 1/2" back from the front edge to center hole.

This is from Headlight Revolution. It is their own version, fits perfectly, and for the $ it's a winner.

Just saw that. Hey, I did have to push back the bracket that holds some hose connectors at the front of the radiator. Did you? It was easy to bend so I just figured my bracket was a tad out of spec. Once I did that, it was easy. Hardest part was running the wires through the firewall.

I believe you are talking about these... and yes I had to very easily bend them slightly to not hit. I also bored the mount to accept a larger bolt and added a stabilizing square washer to minimize flex of the truck's metal... It's a little thin.

A little of this and a little of that.

I got them off of Amazon. Xprite 50" straight and curved light bar mounts. I've had them on for about a year and a half and still holding strong

Mine is a Rough Country 30" it comes with all necessary mounts, but now, I wanted light bar to come more forward bout, sono cut the plastic mesh out, and had some galvanized metal strap, drilled two holes, 3" center to center, and the light bar is flush with the TOYOTA letters

Thats the NSV auto Lightbar. It’s not very hard to install. It’s a already made to be a plug and play install. They have the instruction with the light bar and it’s made specifically for the 3rd gen Tundra.
