Jaws, no doubt. Every time I watch it, which is well over 100+ , my hair stands up on my arms when Quint talks about the USS Indianapolis. What a great scene. As for the screen shot..... Smile you SOB!uploadfromtaptalk1451789869950.jpg

Ever since Q dissed LEO's, Q is off my Xmas list. Especially Hateful Eight. First time I ever boycotted anything, let alone a stupid movie. (and my fellow co-workers too.) Samuel Jackson is a close second. I may rent their movies at Red Box for a $1. Hopefully it will be Q's last film. Q's movies are very good. Don't need his political agenda. Typical for Hollywood types. Make or act in a movie and all of a sudden "they" become an expert in local and world affairs, and I'm supposed to "finally get it"? (The reason I'm so passionate about this is that a close friend of mine's older brother was a Trooper here in CO and was ruthlessly gunned down by two brothers over a "simple" traffic stop on the I-25 south of Pueblo several years ago.) No apologies. The loser brothers got life and are soon up for parole. Needless to say my friend Mike will be at their first parole hearing. Mike's mom recently passed away. He won't be alone at the hearing. I'll be there for support along with a ton of troopers. Kill a LEO in California = capital punishment. CO= Could be free in a few. (Bet they like Q's movies in lock up.)

Correction. I just called my friend Mike. He forwarded this to me:

    Deputy Jason Scott Schwartz
    Fremont County

On September 28, 2001 in the evening, Deputy Schwartz was shot and killed by one of two prisoners he was transporting to the Sheriff's office. Schwartz had responded to an incident in Penrose involving the killing of a dog. Joel Stovall and his brother Michael had been arrested in the incident and placed in Schwartz's patrol car for transport. Apparently, Michael Stovall was carrying two handguns in the waistband of his pants, and at about 8:45pm, he shot Deputy Schwartz in the head near the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and State Highway 115.

The brothers escaped, gathered some weapons in Florence, then shot and seriously injured Corporal Toby Bethel of the Florence Police Department. They led officers on a chase to the west, shooting at numerous officers and wounding Deputy Wes Orosco, before abandoning their pickup near Swissvale early in the morning of September 29.

At about 10:00 that evening, the brothers were discovered hiding in a creek bed near Highway 50 and Chaffee County Road 101. Colorado Parks Rangers Casey Swanson and J. W. Wilder and Division of Wildlife Officer Chris Parmeter arrested the brothers without incident. Their weapons included an AK-47 assault rifle with a 30-round magazine and scope.

Both brothers pled guilty to first degree murder, 18 counts of attempted murder and one count of aggravated robbery. In November 2001, they were sentenced to life in prison plus 896 years.

Apparently no parole hearing soon. Not sure why Mike said there was one coming up. I thought it was just a traffic stop. Apparently the brothers weren't cleared of weapons before being put in Jason's cruiser by another officer. Dang. The Hateful Two. (Oh, it was Mikes' younger brother)

Mystery, Alaska is pretty decent, especially if you are are a hockey fan. (Although the movie was filmed in hockey crazy nut job land>>>:canada:(With all due respect of course, this was meant to be a compliment to all Canuck Tundra owners here.)

X2. Val Kilmer played the role absolutely perfectly.

Jurassic World, both of the Red Dawn and Captain America movies, American Sniper, Super Troopers...the list goes on and on.

Oh and any of the Star Wars movies, especially the new one.

Had it on Amazon for awhile now. Great movie, and it explores a real life scenario.
