Figure I'd start a thread showing the build up of my 2017 Tundra 4wd DC.

So far I've installed these parts ...
    • FOX 2.5 remote res. DSC coilovers
    • Camburg billet upper arms
    • General X3 35x12.50x18 tires
    • Method Double Standard 18x9 wheels
    • Magnaflow catback exhaust system
    • TRD Pro grill
    • AMP bed step
Really happy with the truck so far. I'll be putting one of our front bumpers on shortly and also building up with rear. I had FOX build some custom 3.0 piggyback shocks.

    Here are some pics ....

Pretty sweet looking truck. Love those general tires wth red lettering. Clear some chrome and add some red accents to tie in with the tires and it’s gonna be even more bad ass IMO

Thanks ... been riding my whole life. Worked at FMF for 8 years prior to working for Camburg for the last 13 years. I have an '08 YZ250F that I don't ride as much as I should especially since I picked up a Polaris 1000 2 seater haha.

Any rubbing issues? And did you have to do a body mount chop?

I trimmed the body mount a little since I'm running a true 35" x 12.50 tire, you can go with a slightly smaller metric sized tire and all terrain and not trim it.

Got our bumper installed this weekend along with SDHQ's A-pilar light mounts. Really happy how everything is turning out and fitting together.

No big updates recently. Blacked out all the badging, got a Hypertech speedometer re-calibrater and just ordered up a ARE "Z" series shell for it, that comes in 4-6 weeks. Gonna put one of our roof racks on the shell with more Rigid lights. Thinking about installing the 2018 LED factory lights

Just did the 10k mile service .... time to sell it lol

That bumper seems like a nice midway point between a tube and a plate bumper, almost like the hybrid ones I've seen on Tacomas. If there was one for 2nd gens and it had a short hoop on the top, that'd be exactly what I want on my truck.

@zcarpenter92 yea Im not usually a big lover of the "plate" style bumpers, but this one we came up with I like. It doesn't have that thick & heavy look to it like most do. This bumper fits 2007-2018 models. If we were doing the install, then we could add a hoop, etc.

Hmm. Once I have funds accumulated for a bumper, I'll shoot ya a message. Though me living in CO could complicate the installation aspect.
