Apparently the 030 is for "Non rear stabilizer (sway bar)" rigs and the 041 is for Tundras that came WITH rear stabilizers.

When shopping for a new rack - the 041 OEM racks are ~$300 less.

BUT if you look at Rockauto racks, the manufacturers list BOTH part numbers for their racks for a 2005 Tundra 4.7L.

I am pretty sure the "non rear stabilizer" rigs were 2WD.

So, what the heck is the difference in these steering racks?

I shop on Rock Auto all the time, and I will eventually need one myself, and would go with the brand new Cardone. IMO I wouldn't worry about that difference take the chance and go with cardone, not a bad price. No core to ship back either.

@NWTundra11 - did you figure out the difference on these part numbers? What rack did you end up going with?

I've recently discovered mine is leaking and needs to be replaced...

    Removed lots of rust.
I recently installed an EDELMANN 2026 from rock auto on my 2007 Sequoia 4wd and I am pleased with it.
Mine was missing a dust cover 452220C010 which I ordered from Toyota.
It came with new rubber grommet for mounting the rack.
It shipped in a nice foam lined box.
