just installed a new water pump and timing belt. I noticed when the belt was on that the cam pulley marks are right on the timing mark, but the crank pulley mark was no longer at zero... I didn't rotate anything while the belt was off. Is this normal? Doesn't seem like it. Pics attachedIMG-6106.jpg IMG-6105.jpg

Line it up with the T. That's actually what that T is for, Timing mark. I learned the hard way YEARS ago when I first started with Toyota.

Line up T marks on Cams with the Pin mark on the crank, do a couple full rotations to make sure etc

Marks HAVE to be dead center right on. Do yourself a big favor and always when you think you are done, before putting it all back together, spin it by hand via wrench on crank pulley. I've been doing this a long time and still spin it around a few times just to be sure. You don't want to do this again, one tooth off it will run, but not quite right. Check engine light usually will come on, but yet it drives almost ok. PING
