Found this ARE shell on Craigslist from an 09 double cab. I have never had one before but thought it would be neat to have and the guy only wants $300!

I am wondering how simple it is to install and if anyone has this specific model and can give me some feedback on it. Opinions??

Being an 09 and my truck a 15 do you think the color fading will be noticeable?

Will a 2nd gen shell even fit my 3rd gen??

I am pretty certain the 2nd gen wont fit the 3rd gens due to the body lines. It prob sits on it but probly look weird because of the lines but at $300 might be worth it if youre not all ocd about the lines. All the caps are held by clamps that hook onto the bed rails. Pretty simple install. Heres mine its a snugtop.

It will not fit well, the way the tailgate and rear fenders flair back makes the camper top need to be longer, The top I had on my 2008 would not fit my 2017 for that reason.

You could probably use it but the top would set 1.5 inches or so farther back from the cab that it should
