    2018 Limited.jpg Like the title says I am looking to trade my 2018 18" TRD wheels/tires for a set of 20" Platinum or 1794 wheels and tires. I don't want the chromed version.

    My wheels/tires have about 1200 miles on them and are like new and I would expect the same in return. I just like the look of the 20's. Since I have to enter a price I say they are worth $1200.00. Picture of my truck with the wheels is attached.

    I don't want to ship because that is to expensive. I live right in the middle of Missouri.

    I know it is a longshot but worth a try.

    If you are ever near Clarksville TN, I would be willing to entertain it. Have an 18 Plat with the non chrome wheels.

    First, my truck has 1700 miles now, how many miles on yours?

    I looked on MapQuest, depending on route it is between 364 and 396 miles, I guess we could meet halfway and swap out tires/wheels and we both have what we want.

    Here are the routes: https: //www.mapquest.com/directions/from/us/mo/st-robert/to/us/tn/clarksville

    Thanks for the compliment.

    I like it too, now that I changed the grille surround and hood bulge to color match. I also like the black/silver color scheme of my wheels but like the look of 20"s and since my truck is a pavement queen they suit me just fine. If I do get 20"s I will probably have them powder coated gloss black.

    The new Tundra sport wheels are pretty sweet with the black/silver combo. [IMG]

    The all black is sweet too. (Sequoia trd sport wheels).

    Tundra Sport would be my choice. Like I said, I find the design/styling of my current wheels perfect, just want that in a 20" version.

    Hi @71_340

    New member. I just got a 1794 in late November that has a little over 3,000 miles. I have been looking for the TRD Pro Wheels or your TRD style so I can power coat them a dark flat grey to go with my MGM paint job. I live north of Houston TX. about 10hrs from your zip code. You up for meeting some place along the route?

    Just let me know. Thanks!!

    @71_340, I'm butting in here because I think @Waterman may not know to use a @ before a profile name. Butting back out now. Good luck!

    @71_340,

    To be more specific the wheels are:

    • OEM 20" 1794 aluminum alloy machined wheels
    • With the Charcoal and Machined finish
    • Bridgestone P275/55r20 tires.
    Let me know if you have any questions.

    @Waterman

    My ZIP (65584) to Houston shows 15 hours or 975 miles. The wheels you have are what I am looking for, what is your ZIP (since you say you live north of Houston)?

    I live in College Station, TX zip is 77845. I would run up through highway 35 through Dallas, into OK and on toward you. You too have the wheels I would like, as I said would powder coat them a grey.

    Looks like Kiowa, OK would be about the halfway point according to MapQuest, that would be OK with me.

    Do you know how that works with the TPMS? I am just wondering if the truck's computer will read your TPMS sensors and vice versa or if it has to programed to the new sensors at the dealer? Maybe somebody in the know will chime in with an answer.

    The TPMS will need to be re-programmed to your vehicle, the dealer and most major tire retailers can do it. The dealer being the most expensive.

    Hans,

    Kiowa works for me too. Yes I had another vehicle that I put different factory wheels on and the TPMS had to be programmed to my car. I went through a dealer at the time since I got the wheels through them (swapped the ones on the car for another set they had).

    I can reach out and see if someone like discount tire, a Toyota dealership or another group in Kiowa will be able to do this for us ideally also swap out wheels. I can bring the tools and a floor jack but going to someone else would be more quicker. I will call around today in between meetings and see what I can drum up.

    Unless someone in the group has a contact or knows of a place in or around Kiowa, OK that could do this.

    Whenever we do this I also bring a floor jack as well as an electric impact and a torque wrench, changing out wheels/tires should go pretty quick. I was just reading through the owner's manual and it looks that we can do the programing ourselves, procedure starts on page 496 (kind of PIA but definitely doable).

    Great! I will read through the manual this evening. If you have the power tools then I am up for changing them wherever we can find a spot. All I have is air tools and my compressor is not portable.

    Hans,

    This is looking like we both would like to do this; might as well start looking at possible meet dates. You you have any times/dates in mind that would work for you?

    Thanks,
