Far enough I would be worried about hitting myself with rocks if I drove with the windows down!

Might actually look good if it had that width, smalller diameter rim, and some fiberglass fenders. :D

I just don’t care for big rims and low profile tires on it 4 x 4. I like it on a sport truck but obviously not with knobby tires or them sticking out past the fenders. The truck looks cool but to me it just seems like a waste. Probably handles the mall really well. I’d still rather see it with less rim and more tire. 18” tops, for the rim.

Less rim, more tire. I hate the gargantuan rim with the itty, bitty rubber band tires.

Good to know it’s just not me. I grew up in the late 70’s early 80’s when a 15” rim was big. And I still like that look.

Yea, I remember when the 14" wheel was an optional upgrade at an additional cost.

My guess is that is a 22x14 -76 offset wheel. I honestly never liked they look of a wide stance and bigger wheel. On any truck but I saw a long bed tundra like mine with some 22x12 wheels -44 and I loved it so much I just ordered a set for mine. I definitely wouldn't have considered it of I was to ever offroad but I have to be honest mine is never seeing mud. Lol.

Just saw a Tundra at lunch with basically that same set up. The tires were almost bald, and overall it looked cheesy!! I don't like that look either

Don’t most states have laws now preventing tires from sticking out that far? Those would sling rocks and debris everywhere.

Look kinda grew on me. But no fender flare would probably keep those tucked enough to avoid rocks.

I think with my wheels I'm going to run fender flares mainly because my driveway is gravel. Might color match them but back on white is not to bad.

Yeah pro comp had some flares that went out like 3". But on a 12 wide wheel with 14 inches wide of tire and that minimum of -44 ... It is probably still gonna stick out

By my crazy calculation it will be about half the tire. I'm going to be running a 12.5 wide still so roughly 6" outside the fender sounds like a hole lot but with a flair on it womt be to bad. The hardest thing with my truck being a long bed is staying away from curbs at times. But I will have to be extra careful.

Texas truck, so nothing against it. See setups with tires almost all the way out daily, sucks when they sling rocks though

Well it is basically a 35x14. So if you can find any 12wide -44 rims in any diameter running maybe a 13.5 it would be close.. No one on here seems to go wide. Lol

Unless you can find a more positive offset that will work. I dunno.

You would definitely need a 7" lift or bigger to clear a 13.5 with even a -44 I would think. Idk I do know with my truck I will have to do the bmc and I am doing 1/2" bumper shims as well.
This pic just because I want to share and I really think these wheels are going to set my truck off and apart from most. I have googled for ever trying to find a tundra with these wheels of any size cant find it. Although fuel makes a wheel that kinda looks like it. But here are the 22x12 -44 wheels I'm getting they must be a little popular though they are on back order right now.

I don’t go wide because I go off-roading fairly often and already run into width issues running 34.5” x 11.5”.
