Has anyone de-badged their truck after the badges have been on for a few years? Anyone found any discoloration between exposed/not exposed to sunlight areas? Sorry, I know this is probably the ultimate newb question... :notsure:

I’d like to de-badge, but don’t want to regret the decision after I start.

You should be fine!! I debadged mine after a year and it looks great.
@TheBeast debadged his black 2012 tundra not too long ago and he’s happy with the results.

I recently removed a few badges on my 2014 and didn’t really notice a difference. I’m sure there are many variables that could make it worse, but the fade wasn’t an issue with mine.

    Everything. Literally.
Buddy debadhed his ‘14 a week or so ago and there was some color difference but he just got his truck waxed and buffed and everything’s gravy now.

de-badged my 2012 in 2017 :) can't tell it has ever been there. It's on the sides so not facing the sun as much as the roof or hood .
you'll be fine. Post pics when done :)

    Still rocking the stock height.
Thanks for posting this question. I have been thinking about doing this for the last couple of days. I'm thinking about it even more now.

Everyone above was correct, debadged without a problem. No fade, no haze, can’t even tell anything was ever there, looks so much cleaner, absolutely worth it.

yep, it makes the truck look cleaner imo. I just left the 5.7L badges on mine.
